Welcome to Myelle Woods in DeKalb County, Illinois. Entry onto the property is strictly private and granted solely to invited guests who have completed the mandatory electronic access agreement and liability release.
Health Insurance
Active medical coverage is an absolute prerequisite. Policyholders must accompany dependents.
Minor Supervision
Parents or legal guardians must remain on-site at all times. No teen peer invitations.
Zero-Tolerance
Strict enforcement of Illinois law against underage alcohol possession or consumption.
Property Rules & Guidelines
All invited campers, drivers, and guests must strictly observe the following conditions to be admitted onto the premises.
Active Health Insurance Required
Every individual entering the premises must be covered by active, valid medical insurance. No person covered under another's policy (including minors and dependents) will be admitted unless the policyholder with emergency medical decision-making authority is physically present on the property.
Minor Chaperone & No Teen Invitations
No individual under 18 is permitted unless accompanied and signed in by their legal parent or court-appointed guardian at all times. Teenagers and minors are strictly prohibited from inviting or admitting other minors or peers. Unaccompanied minors will be immediately ejected.
Zero-Tolerance Underage Drinking Policy
Pursuant to Illinois law (235 ILCS 5/ and 740 ILCS 58/), no person under the age of 21 shall possess, consume, or transport alcohol on the property. Adults are strictly prohibited from furnishing alcohol to minors. Violations result in immediate expulsion and referral to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.
Safe Vehicle Operation & Fire Safety
Observe 5 MPH speed limits near all campsites. Motorized equipment must be in safe working order. Pack out all trash, respect the natural terrain and river corridor, and ensure all bonfires and campfires are fully extinguished before leaving.
